“If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.”
Dreamer. Hustler. Woman About Town. As much as I deeply miss traveling to different parts of the world, I can’t imagine living in one place long-term other than L.A. It’s the only world-class city that’s exciting enough to keep my attention for more than a few months. When you’re in L.A. you feel like you’re in the center of the universe. There’s an entire city of people creating a culture that gets projected onto all corners of the globe.
Just driving down the infinite streets lined with palm trees and neon lights fills you with an endless sense of possibility of what could happen and what could find you. The world belongs to you, and there are few cities in the world that can give you that feeling. L.A. is a place where people come to make their dreams come true. Everyone is hustling and everyone is dreaming at all hours of the day. There’s an optimism and creative grind that defines the people who live here. Every time you meet another creative, you feel a sense of immediate unity and respect because we’re all in this business of making it together.
It’s tough to hustle for rent, work on your creative passion, look good and be ultra-cool. But if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere and you know that so many people around the world would kill just to be in your shoes. Find me at any hole-in-the-wall with drinks around Koreatown or DTLA. Whenever I want the real trendy Angeleno vibes I’ll venture over to West Hollywood to shop or go clubbing or eat brunch. Wearing all black when going out, putting on lip gloss while driving, and not talking to people at bars as much as I should. L.A. is big and sprawling so you’ll never run out of new things and places to discover. People come from all over the world to build new lives here. Everyone belongs and no one is an outsider. There’s something for everyone in this city, you just have to go out and take the time to find the right people and the right haunts.

“I know that my dreams are possible.”
Girlboss. Life Lover. Generous. L.A. has it all. Perfect weather, beautiful beaches, mountains, shopping, food…etc. There are endless things to do in L.A. on any given day. I love that I learn about new hidden places every day. It’s the land of discovery. L.A. is full of successful people and I am reminded of that every day. Surrounding myself with like-minded people and waking up to a bright sunny day keeps my dreams alive. I know that my dreams are possible and I’m working towards them every day. I am usually at the beach in Santa Monica. I love to body board, play volleyball, and bike along the coast. I’m a huge fan of hopping on my bike and heading down to Hermosa or Manhattan Beach for the day. I hate that people in L.A. speed up when the traffic light is turning yellow because the thought of waiting through the next light will add time they just don’t have. LOL.

“I think L.A. kills your dreams, but it forces you to bring it back to life.”
Young. I’ll sleep when I’m dead. Tequila. The diverse culture creates an environment where everyone is open-minded and aware of those who do not come from a similar background. Of course there are exclusive communities and those who may not have a similar belief system, but you can always find a place to find yourself as long as you put the work into it. I think L.A. kills your dreams, but it forces you to bring it back to life. Being around those who are on a similar grind as you creates great competition and forces you to continuously become the best version of yourself in whatever you want to pursue. Talking about how basic everyone is then you end up doing something basic like grabbing bottomless mimosa brunches and SnapChatting everything. The vibes, weather, food, nightlife….everything is amazing except for the traffic during rush hour. BUT, you can easily avoid that by learning all the side streets and when to avoid the freeways!

“It feels like an endless summer of opportunity. I love LA!”
It truly has everything to offer, from the perfect beaches, to snowy mountains all within a short drive apart from each other. There are always innovative things happening all around you, and there’s never a shortage of new things to see and do. My favorite part – the daily dose of warm sunshine and tall palm trees. For me personally, the warm weather and long days keep me motivated. It’s almost effortless to get up and go when it’s a beautiful day. Since I’m an actress, being in the hub of the film industry makes it possible for me to continue a successful career. It’s a true blessing. I spend a lot of my time in Hollywood since I live there now, as well as downtown, since it’s so close. I do miss the Westside since moving away from the beach. Those ocean sunsets are hard to beat.

“I’ll take 80 degrees in April over snow any day!”
L.A. is unique compared to other cities because its huge geography allows you to spend an entire day driving 50+ miles, all the while still being in L.A. County. My dreams stay alive in L.A. by seeing how successful so many young people have become solely in this city. I’m almost always strolling along Melrose Avenue or drinking coffee in Venice on my days off!
Being an L.A. local, one thing I noticed that people do here is making plans then falling through, but even I catch myself doing this on occasion. It’s hard to keep up with a busy schedule sometimes!

“The beach where I go surfing…reminds me of why I’m here.”
Not wanting to go somewhere due to traffic.
