Palais Galliera: Inside Rick Owens Exhibition “Temple Of Love”

Right now, Palais Galliera is hosting fashion designer Rick Owens’ work, called: Temple of Love.

Rick Owens’ Temple of Love showcases the American artist’s raw and luxurious fashion pieces, conceptualized through “glunge” or the fusion of grunge and glamour, boldly displayed on 100 sculptural silhouettes where visitors can closely observe every cut, form, shape and detail of each magnificent piece.

There are never-before-seen archived documents that invite design lovers to enter the so-called Dark Lord of Fashion’s spiritual universe, his embrace for imperfection and individuality.

Visitors can also closely examine the juxtaposition of premium fabric with dramatic and industrial motifs that explore provocative rebellion, underground and counterculture. 

Rick Owens himself was the artistic director of the exhibition that even extends to the exterior garden of the museum. For travelers that have deep passion for fashion and heading to Paris, definitely put this on the list.
