As another season of Bachelor in Paradise wraps up this week, the gang will be leaving the most dramatic season at the now famous resort in Sayulita, MexicoPlaya Escondida Resort. Here are some fun facts about the beachy resort that welcome as many crabs as random hook-ups.

1. Magic Town!

Sayulita is a village located 40 minutes away from Puerto Vallarta. The Mexican government calls it a “Magic Town” due to the vibrant mixture of Mexican and international cultures.

2. “A private jungle beach hideaway and spa.”

The resort has four different beachfront villas, including: a bird canyon villa, an ocean-view villa, and a tropical-view villa.

3. Super affordable. 

The cheapest room with tropical view goes from $165 – $225/night, meanwhile the beachfront rooms start from $250 – $495/night.

4. Pretty cool amenities.

You can dine next to a waterfall, or enjoy the private beach. If you rent villas, then you can access private pools. In addition to a hotel spa, you can sign up for yoga classes or other fun excursions. Unfortunately, Wells Adams not included.

5. Vidanta Resort Nuevo Vallarta.

Even though the cast stay at Playa Escondida Resort most of the time, the dates that cast members go are often filmed at Vidanta Resort Nuevo Vallarta. It’s located an hour away from the rest of the cast, but it’s treated as a “date” venue because it doesn’t have a more Bachelor in Paradise vibe.
