Being a native New Yorker, a bagel and cream cheese is my staple breakfast.

So imagine my dismay when I learned that the Czech Republic did not have bagels anywhere. Pancakes and omelets were not a common meal either. Breakfast was going to be the most depressing meal of the day until I accidentally wandered into Bohemia Bagel.
This is no ordinary bagel shack. When you enter a cozy atmosphere filled with artwork, comfy chairs, and a chalkboard menu greets you. And trust me – the bagels were worth the wait. They were crispy on the outside with a light bread feeling on the inside: a bagel even a New Yorker would be proud of. With some jelly or cream cheese, it was a breakfast that made my whole day better.

The bagels are not the only thing to rave about. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and just the right proportion of fresh blueberries to batter. The guacamole chicken will make your taste buds scream in delight. It was especially impressive since it is from an area where avocados are sparse. Craving a real American hamburger? They have over ten varieties with toppings galore. Do not forget dessert, where you can get classics such as key lime pie and New York cheesecake. It is the perfect place when you are having a craving for some home-style food.
