A month ago, Jetset Times had the chance to dine at Circo in NYC’s Midtown. The experience turned out to be full of serious Italian flavor, stuffed with scents and bites directly from the fields and water of Tuscany. Sirio Maccioni (the patriarch of the Maccioni Group – a worldwide franchise that encompasses: Circo, Le Cirque and Sirio Ristorante) once told us, “My heart is always in Tuscany. We’re different than everyone else.” Sure enough, recipes at Circo are preciously handcrafted by Sirio’s wife, Eugidiana. With Mama Egi’s heartfelt instructions for Tortellini in Capon Broth, your holiday dinner will be delighted with zests of family love and savory joy. – Jetset Times

This classic Tuscan dish is traditionally served during the holiday season and it’s a favorite at the Maccioni family table.  It’s so warm and inviting, they’ve included it as a course option on Circo NYC’s festive New Year’s Even menu. Here’s the family recipe.
