Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Romantic Stay In Tromvik

Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle started 2017 in the most romantic way.

But instead of flying to Paris or Italy, they opted for Tromvik, Norway where not a single restaurant, cafe or shop exists. Most travelers may not know about this hidden gem, but it was also recently visited by Crown Prince Haakon of Norway. Here’s how you can follow Suits actress and the royal prince’s itinerary:

According to various Norwegian media, the couple stayed at the luxurious Tromvik Lodge which costs USD $374/night. Situated on the edge of Norwegian Sea, the hotel offers a panoramic views of mountains and water.

At the lodge, there’s also an outdoor jacuzzi where you can gaze at the northern lights simply by looking up. Whale watching is also available for USD $222/day. During this time of the year, there’s an immense amount of whales due to their consumption of herrings that swim to the fjords.

Since the couple visited the Arctic Circle last week, this tiny little fishing village Tromvik has suddenly been on everyone’s radar. According to Google Trends, the web searches for Tomvik Lodge have surged by more than 200%. Public interest in the currency exchange rate has also grown 300%.
