From luxurious hotels to a casual kebab, here are some of Taylor Swift’s favorite places in London.

As the Eras Tour progresses, there are few European countries where Taylor Swift has not celebrated her history-making show, which now gathers millions of Swifties across the continent. London, however, is one of the major highlights, as it is the only city where the singer will revisit in two different months, as well as the one that will permanently close out the European leg of the Eras Tour. In June, between concerts, fans witnessed the American singer exploring the capital of United Kingdom, a city she once considered her home.

Through her extensive discography, from the iconic “You Know I Love A London Boy” to her more recent “So Long, London,” the city of Big Ben has established itself as one of the artist’s greatest muses. The most famous streets and neighborhoods of downtown – including: Shoreditch, Hackney…and more – have been forever immortalized in her lyrics, sometimes in a cheerful and playful tone, other times in a melancholic one. It is undeniable, however, the sentimental connection that the musician experiences with this metropolis, whose corners she roams every time she visits. Here are some of Swift’s favorite London locations.
Kentish Delight

Taking a look at the seemingly modest exterior of Kentish Delight, a kebab establishment in Kentish Town, you would not think that a singer of Taylor Swift’s caliber would include this discreet restaurant among her favorites in London. She began visiting it along with her English ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, with whom she lived in the city for years, and it even appeared in the “End Game” music video, released in 2017.
Of course, her visit brought great fame to the venue; today, it is easy to find it packed with visitors coming to order Swift’s favorite dishes: chicken doner alongside garlic dressing or, on the contrary, chicken shish, lashings of chili flavoring, and salad, the latter being dubbed by the owner as “the Swift Kebab.” Recently, Kentish Delight, which the star called the best kebab in London, received a massive pre-order for her June nights of singing at Wembley Stadium.
Casa Cruz

Taylor Swift was seen leaving Casa Cruz, which defines itself as an intimate, warm, and elegant Argentine restaurant in the heart of London’s Notting Hill neighborhood. The origins of the locale, famous for hosting A-list celebrities, date back to the Victorian era, when it was inaugurated as a pub. Over time, Casa Cruz has moved in the direction of a diner but still maintains the original aesthetic on its exterior, noticeable in the cornices and moldings that frame its windows and doors. It allows the house to blend harmoniously within the historical and predominantly classical surroundings of Notting Hill.
This year, Casa Cruz has attracted public figures such as Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, and Dua Lipa. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, was seen accompanied by others like Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, Andrew Scott, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Lena Dunham, drawn by the place’s South American-inspired cuisine or, more likely, its knockout cocktails.
Chiltern Firehouse

To celebrate the end of her tour in London – until August 2024, – Taylor Swift gathered with her friends Ellie Goulding, Sophie Turner, and Peregrine Pearson, and her current partner, football player Travis Kelce. The latter was also lucky enough to accompany her on stage that same night, making his legendary appearance at Wembley Stadium before she sang “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.”
Chiltern Firehouse, located in central Marylebone, celebrates North and South American cuisine through flavorful dishes, incorporating a predominant use of the grill. Despite being a magnet for all kinds of personalities, the hotel-restaurant has managed to imbue itself with a cozy and hearty atmosphere, reinforced by the candles on the tables, paneled walls, and velvet seats. Its menu highlights specialties such as its crab doughnuts and Iberico pork, which, paired with the right wine, ensure a night of sensations for all its customers.
The Savoy Hotel

From the exclusive Rosewood Villa Magna in Madrid to the aristocratic Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Lake Como, Taylor Swift does not take lightly the choice of hotels where she rests before and after performing.
The Savoy Hotel, with its carefully curated aesthetic and unbeatable views of the Thames, is considered Swift’s favorite hotel in London which led it to also appear in the “End Game” music video. The Savoy Hotel has a rich history, as it was the first luxury hotel to offer electricity, along with hot and chilly water in all its rooms, and the first to install elevators in the building. Today, it is one of the preferred places to stay in London, likely due to its ostentatious interiors marked by Art Deco and Edwardian styles, the fancy restaurants it offers, and its enviable location. Situated on the Strand, one of London’s most upscale areas, The Savoy Hotel connects Trafalgar Square with the City and is just a few minutes’ walk from Covent Garden, the West End, and Somerset House.
The Black Dog

“And so I watch as you walk into some bar called The Black Dog.”
In her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department, Swift’s track “The Black Dog” seems to refer to ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn’s hometown, specifically to the pub “The Black Dog Freehouse,” where, according to the singer, her ex-boyfriend might have had an affair with another girl.
