Visiting my family and seeing people so happy even having so little.

We’re excited to introduce Diggity, an up-and-coming Filipino-American rapper from the Bay Area. His high-energy beats are the perfect addition to a workout or party playlist, and his fast lyrics should be played loudly while cruising with the windows down. Check out Diggity’s answers to our questions below, where he talks about his favorite travel memory, biggest source of music inspiration, and why he loves the Bay Area.
Where was the last place you traveled to and what was your favorite memory from the trip?
My motherland, the Philippines. Visiting my family and seeing people so happy even having so little. It really humbles you a lot and it makes you grateful for what you have.
What’s the best part about living in the Bay Area?
The diversity of people which brings all different kinds of food to the region. I’m a seeker when it comes to trying other cultures food and there is no better place to experience that than the Bay Area.

What’s your all-time favorite music venue?
The Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View. The outdoor feel and especially in the summer time, the concerts are so lively and the vibe is just relaxed.
What’s one thing that’s ALWAYS in your suitcase?
I would say my grooming kit. Presentation is key and I believe as a man, you must always be presentable and clean cut at all times.
Where have you been finding inspiration for your music lately?
Everyday walks of life. From what’s going on in the world to what’s going on with me, my family, and my colleagues.

What artists do you have on repeat right now?
2pac is always on repeat. Rick Ross, Bruno Mars, Future. Lately I’ve been really listening to Luciano Pavarotti.
If you could spend the day anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The Maldives. Just be away from the world and be surrounded by water, hella fruit and just relax on the beach.
