Inside her travel diary, favorite destinations and upcoming wedding plans with her Italian boo.

Arianne Marie of Arianne’s Travel Journal is a professional model turned jetsetter. She writes personal and whimsical entries and reflections of her travels with her fiancee Gian, who she will marry in the Amalfi Coast this fall. We were lucky to have a chance to ask Arianne about her lovely travel diary, her favorite destinations and her upcoming wedding plans with her Italian boo.
Tell us your story. How did your platform come about and what inspired you to create it?
I tend to be quite impulsive and this was one of those moments! I have never been a good writer and was never much into photography, but travel has always been my absolute addiction and have modeled for many years, so when I met Gian who shared my passion for travel but loved photography we decided we couldn’t NOT share all of our crazy adventures. Then we both have a thing for finding unusual restaurants, unique destinations etc… so we thought let us share some insight with friends and family and created the site….from there it has taken off!

How do you choose the destinations you travel to? What types of destinations do you find yourself drawn to?
Well, although we both love a good warm beach we are always drawn to new places and historic sites. That is how we have ended up in some pretty incredible locations! From Tibet to the Dead Sea in Jordan we love exploring all this beautiful planet has to offer us.

What do you love to write about most on your travel journal?
I love writing memorable experiences. City guides and tourist destination ideas are saturated and I believe they change constantly so it is not what drives me. However, a special spa moment, a meal that was out of this world or a hotel that had a unique quality is what I really love writing about.

We hear you’re getting married this year! How did you choose the destination for your wedding (and the groom)?
Yes I am! Very excited about it too :-) Groom we met while we were both traveling in Dubai and immediately bonded over our addiction for adventure! We both love discovering new cities and have also similar travel styles. As the destination we wanted Italy to be close to his grandma that cannot travel. After that we traveled around and found the Amalfi Coast to be probably one of the most beautiful places Italy (and the world) has to offer!

Who are your favorite people in the travel blogger game?
Oh there are some amazing ones out there! I think some of my top girls I look up to are: Authentic Chica and Global Elite.
What are your dreams from here on out?
Well, of course we have so much to see but in our radar we have: Maldives, Bora Bora, Japan and Iceland!
