At these killer Panamanian haunts because Panama is for lovers.

1. La Cinta Costera
Panama is for lovers. I’m personally single (and ready to mingle, hey boys!), but Panama made me fall in love with the La Cinta Costera. Spanish for “the coastal belt,” La Cinta Costera is a pedestrian walkway with the picturesque bay on one side and the metropolitan skyline on the other. The nearly two-mile stretch offers several attractions including shaved ice carts, a serenity garden, basketball courts, tennis courts and of course a scenic view of the city. La Cinta Costera is sure to steal your heart.

2. La Rana Dorada
The pizza gods have done it again. They have brought us a crazy new flavor combination: “El Chocao.” Panamanian pub, La Rana Dorada (“the golden frog”) dishes up pizza with sweet plantains, savory bacon, and surprisingly, coconut. The pizza is weird, wacky, wonderful and definitely worth a try. The pub itself offers a host of craft beers from its adjacent brewery. You can find it right at the edge of the city’s Casco Viejo.

3. Casco Viejo
Panama City takes on an old-school feel in Casco Viejo (“Old Helmet”). The neighborhood consists of several small blocks of large impressive buildings. By day, the area boasts of several plazas celebrating Spanish and French influence in Panama. By night, the area comes alive: several old buildings function as nightclubs once the sun goes down and stay that way until the sun comes up again.
