The city’s parks turn into beautiful autumn colors, as cozy cafés, restaurants and pubs are often seen as a welcomed shelter from the city’s bitter weather. But, luckily, there’s no danger of heat waves during city tours, when inhabitants of Prague begin wearing elegant coats and the city seems to exude more graceful side. So, what does an autumn day in Prague look like?

The first thing you must do in the morning is to get enough energy for the rest of the day, so our first stop is Café Lounge. This café and restaurant serves great food and a truly unforgettable breakfast! Homemade bread, eggs cooked in every imaginable way, fruit, spreads, cheeses, delicious Prague ham, pancakes and fresh juices are but a small example of the breakfast menu. We just love these high quality holiday breakfasts!

Now that our bellies are full and we have lots of energy, what’s next? Well, now is the time to discover the capital city of the Czech Republic! Our tour guide agency, ThinkPrague, is located just a few steps from Café Lounge, so that’s where you can begin your private tour of the city with our specially trained local guides.

Fortunately, Prague has not been significantly damaged in the course of its long history, so we can admire its spectacular historical sites and monuments in their entirety to this day. Rapid development following the fall of communism in 1989 changed Prague into a modern European metropolis. If you want to discover and understand the modern city as well as its history past, then the Street Vibes guided walking tour is exactly what you’re looking for.

The central location of Think Prague’s agency is conveniently located in ART&FOOD Had restaurant, well known for its amazing service and original dishes based on traditional Czech cuisine. The restaurant may be quite full in the evenings, so don’t forget to book a table in advance.

After the guided tour that will take you to the very heart of the city, you will want to discover the nearby and very popular quarter known as Letná on your own. It is the ideal place for an autumn walk, especially if you go to Letenské sady, a large park where the Stalin Monument used to stand. It was replaced by a sculpture called the Prague Metronome, which symbolizes the unstoppable passage of time. Letenské sady offers one of the most beautiful and captivating views of Prague, which is simply breathtaking to behold especially when viewed with so many charmingly colored trees in its surrounds brought about by the loveliness of autumn.

If you’re not too tired and still don’t feel like calling it a day, you might want to spend the evening in a traditional Czech pub, such as U Zlatého tygra and enjoy some delicious world-class Czech beer! No matter which season happens to be your favorite, Prague is the city to visit when autumn is on your mind.
