U Vejvodu: This is one of the few pubs in Prague still selling tank beers. For beer enthusiasts (you already know), this means beers are delivered fresh from the brewery by the tanker lorry. MAP

U Pinkasů is a tankovnas hidden gem in Wenceslas Square. If you’ like to drink Pilsner Urquell straight out from the tank, this is a great place to do it as they have a cave and a terrace. Now, this is the way to drink a Pilsner! MAP

U Zlatého tygra: Former President Bill Clinton came here with then Czech president Václav Havel. Apparently, he had such a great time and immediately downed 3 beers back in 1994. This is a great place for you to sample local beer in Old Town Square. MAP

Bugsy’s Bar: Another bar where you’ll need to reserve a table ahead of time as it gets crowded. It’s on the chic and sophisticated side, perfect if you just finished a nice dinner and still want the night to go on in your fancy outfits! MAP

U Medvídků: With a new tank installed, U Medvídků also offers a brewery tour for you to learn more about their brews. This tank pub for serious beer lovers is also a hotel and a restaurant. MAP

U Černého vola: The exterior is antiquely gorgeous, built after WWII. During lunch hours, you’ll find many politicians or government officials on break in this famous spot. As the crowd grows toward evenings, we highly recommend tasting a dark Czech beer. MAP

James Dean: This American restaurant transforms into a totally different scene at night. Love go-go dancers and crazy nights of drinking? MAP

Tretter’s New York Bar: This cocktail bar is always jam-packed, so make sure you reserve a table. They also have a member’s club just in case you’re really into this sophisticated mixology joint. We think this might be the best bar in Prague! MAP

Fashion Club: The bold and the beautiful are all flocking to this new club built on top of an old communist department store: Kotva. Get dressed up and dance all night with the hottest DJs in town. MAP

Pivovarsky Klub is where you can have hundreds of beers to choose from. There are at least 240 kinds of beer in bottles and 6 beers on tap. They open ’til late at night and serve traditional Czech cuisine including various kinds of meat: kangaroo and ostrich. MAP

Lokál has a fantastic contemporary ambiance with bright and silver beer tanks placed throughout the restaurant/bar. If you’re not a big fan of beer, not to worry! Lokál also offers a wonderful range of Czech liqueur and spirits. MAP

Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge: Want a bar with DJ spinning while you groove in front of the best view in Prague? Cloud 9 sits on top of the Hilton Hotel. MAP

La Bodeguita Del Medio: First and foremost, make sure to order a mojito! Lots of dancing here and beats are infused with Cuban vibes. If you’re down to have a good time without pretense, this is it! MAP
