Everyone likes to indulge during December. It’s the time to relax, and not worry about anything. But being human, “not” worrying about what we eat can be difficult and perhaps impossible no matter how good those cookies, brownies, cakes, and ice cream can taste. Here’s a versatile frozen treat that is good for a snack, dessert, or that food you reach for when you think no one is watching. Even better, this banana dessert won’t guilt you into going to the gym. No bake and no stress!

Ingredients: Bananas, dipping chocolate, or you can make your own.

Optional: chocolate chips, sprinkles, and/or my personal favorite: peanut butter chips.

1. Slice the bananas and place slices on parchment paper. The width that you would put on cereal or yogurt is the perfect bite size. Put the bananas in the freezer for 15-20 minutes, or until firm.

2. Melt the dipping chocolate.

3. Dip the bananas and put on another piece of parchment paper. As you dip, feel free to sprinkle different toppings on top of the pieces, or stick a toothpick through like a lollipop for a party treat.

4. After dipping, store in the freezer and enjoy!
