Malmö might not be the biggest city, but Malmö Konsthall is one of Europe’s largest spaces for modern art. Opened since 1975, it hosts exhibitions featuring both Swedish and international artists.

The building was designed by architect Klas Anshelm who wanted to model the space after sculptor Constatin Brancusi’s studio in Paris, with a massive space of concrete, glass, wood and aluminum is vastly illuminated by domes that permit both natural and artificial light.
