Located inside the prestigious Royal Mansour Marrakech, La Grande Table Marocaine celebrates the country’s culinary heritage through refined traditional recipes, elaborate interiors and the art of Moroccan hospitality.

Situated within the palatial surroundings of Royal Mansour Marrakech, La Grande Table Marocaine offers an immersive introduction to Morocco’s gastronomic traditions. Opened in 2008, the restaurant has established itself as one of the city’s leading fine-dining destinations, combining ancestral recipes with contemporary culinary refinement. The restaurant’s distinctive blue patio provides a beautiful entrance to the dining pavilion, while the soft melodies of traditional oud and lute musicians create an atmosphere reminiscent of a Moroccan royal reception.
Under the culinary direction of Michelin-starred chef Hélène Darroze, alongside chef Karim Ben Baba, the kitchen reinterprets Morocco’s regional specialties while preserving their traditional flavors and techniques. Among the highlights is the Royal Mansour pigeon pastilla, a delicate combination of pigeon, Middle Atlas almonds and cinnamon wrapped in crisp pastry. Other notable dishes include the Berber lamb tajine, the seven-vegetable couscous and an assortment of sh’hiwates, traditional Moroccan salads featuring ingredients such as preserved lemons, olives, eggplant and coriander. For dessert, the milk pastilla, delicately perfumed with orange blossom and accompanied by caramelized dried fruits, offers a memorable interpretation of a Moroccan sweet.
The restaurant’s Friday lunch is particularly special, celebrating the country’s couscous tradition with a choice of vegetarian, chicken or lamb preparations.
The restaurant’s reputation was further recognized in 2026 when it received the Art of Hospitality Award at MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants and secured the No. 19 position on the regional ranking.
