One of the famous New Year’s traditions looked completely different this year! The ball drop in Times Square, New York City was not packed with people, but artists still performed to give viewers at home an entertaining show.
Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Lewis Capaldi, Cyndi Lauper, and more attended Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. Other celebs hosted alongside Seacrest, including: Lucy Hale and Billy Porter.
Although the celebration felt very different this year, many stars attended to ring in the new year with millions watching from their living rooms.

The couple welcomed the new year with their children and a few friends in St. Barts! They have been staying on a yacht and vacationing for some time now, and celebrated NYE in style with a fun, mini-fête onboard.

Kendall and Kylie took to the slopes this holiday season with a trip to Aspen, Colorado. Together, the sisters waved goodbye to 2020 while enjoying time in the snow. Although the Kardashian-Jenner family didn’t get to do their usual holiday celebration, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian had their own celebrations from home. Meanwhile, Kendall and Kylie were spotted in the mountains as they rang in 2021. If you want to celebrate like the Jenner crew, get your jackets and snowboard ready!
BTS, Halsey, Lauv, Steve Aoki, and more ring in the new year from Seoul!
These stars celebrated from South Korea at Big Hit Labels’ 2021 New Year’s Eve Live, with other K-Pop acts, such as: TXT, ENHYPEN and GFRIEND, BTS celebrating the New Year singing some of their old and new tracks. Their performance included their smash hit “Dynamite,” and three of their previous songs that featured three popular artists: Halsey, Lauv, and Steve Aoki!
The artists left messages for fans watching from South Korea or internationally, and said they were ecstatic to toast to the new year with the live stream taking place in Korean Standard Time.
