The event was held at the Mattatoio, an ex-slaughterhouse designed by Gioacchino Ersoch, an Italian architect (1815-1902) who contributed to the modernization of slaughterhouses and markets in Rome. Built around the 1890s, Mattatoio is deemed important due to its modern structure. Today, the Mattatoio is used for a number of events, such as the Embodying Pasolini Press Conference.

Spencer House, which was constructed between 1756 and 1766, is an aristocratic palace where large number of events are held. This is the only building in London from the 18th century remaining in good condition today. If you find yourself in this historic metropolis, the Spencer House is also open to the public for tours. The palace was erected for John, first Earl Spencer, who was the great-grandson of the first Duke of Marlborough, and ancestor of Princess Diana. The Neo-Classical State Rooms are some of the first of their kind in Europe, and the design is credited to architects John Vardy and James “Athenian” Stuart. The Spencer family has not lived in the Spencer House since 1926, so the palace was used for offices from their departure until 1985. In this period and beyond, restorations were made to keep the Spencer House in good standing, and the repairs were designed to keep the town house as original as possible.
