“Emily In Paris”-Inspired Holiday Looks!

Netflix recently released season 1 of Emily in Paris, the story of an American marketing professional transferred to the Paris office.

Emily creates new friendships, learns to balance her work life and, of course, finds a few love interests along the way. After all, Paris is the city of love. While the storyline is interesting, the fashion is where this show truly makes a statement. Aside from the number of colorful berets (and there are quite a few,) Emily’s style is something we can all take inspiration from this holiday season.

Holiday Gift Shopping!

Gift shopping for the holidays can be stressful, but looking fashionable while doing the chore can give you that extra motivation. This look, while simple, is easy to throw on and perfect for shopping either with masks at the mall or lounging on your couch at home. All you need is a cropped tank, flannel and a pair of your favorite skinny jeans. Throw on some lipstick, a signature Emily product, and you’re ready to go!

Holiday-themed drinks? Count me in! Peppermint mocha, spiked cider…you name it and I am there! What better way to enjoy a holiday brunch with your loved ones than in this all plaid getup? So easy to assemble, with minimal planning. Want to spice things up? Add a red lip and gold jewelry, you will be sure to turn heads.

Are you seeing a theme here? Plaid is back and is dominating this holiday season. I, for one, am here for it. This look, while only using the color scheme of black and red, has a plaid jacket over a floral dress. A clear statement while looking chic, this is a fashion look we should all play around with. Make sure to add a colorful bag to tie the look together!

Holiday Party with Friends!

Of course, we had to save the best look for last. This metallic green jacket is the perfect accessory to make a statement at a holiday party with friends and I predict an investment piece like this will never go out of style. Imagine, a few decades down the line being that trendy grandma rocking this jacket. I’m obsessed. Can we also discuss how the bold scarf tied around Emily’s neck adds some sass? The grinch could never.
