Your Ultimate EPCOT Food Guide: Eating Your Way Around The World

While Disney World’s EPCOT World Showcase is known for giving adults the opportunity to “drink around the world,” what better to do than pair those drinks with delicious food?

EPCOT has tons of delectable snacks and meals to choose from, at a variety of walk-up stands and restaurants. When drinking around the world, you’ll want to stop for quick bites in each country, so this EPCOT food guide contains the best dishes from quick-service eateries in each country of the World Showcase.

Mexico

You can never go wrong with some delicious tacos! The taco trio from La Cantina de San Angel contains three tacos all made with a different filling. It is Barbacoa (shredded beef), Pollo (chicken) and Camarón (Mexican corn-breaded shrimp) tacos on homemade corn tortillas, served with rice and black beans with queso fresco. This quick-service eat is more like a meal than a snack, and these tacos are to die for! The barbacoa has a smokey taste that contrasts the mild spice of the chicken, and the corn-breaded shrimp is accompanies by a fresh mango salsa. This is an absolute must try for only $14.99, a total steal for a meal in Disney World!

Italy

As a New Yorker, it is very hard to impress me with a slice of pizza. Pizza al Taglio or “Pizza Window” in the Italy pavilion is the closest thing to New York pizza the park has to offer. They serve a variety of slices ranging from plain cheese, to pepperoni, to vegetable, and their specialty sausage and mushroom. This quick-service eatery is an extension of the fantastic Via Napoli Italian restaurant, so you know you can expect greatness. Between the crispy crust, authentic tomato sauce and gooey mozzarella cheese, this is definitely a stop you’ll want to make on your trip “around the World.”

United Kingdom

I’m sure you could’ve guessed this one! At Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK pavilion, you’ll find some tasty fish and chips. Crispy fried fish and salty french fries to satisfy your cravings. This quick-service stand actually only sells fish and chips, and mandarin oranges! They’re a nice add-on to get some fruit in your body for a long day in the park. The fish and chips will cost you $11.49, a fantastic price for a meal in the park. If you want that three-pack of mandarin oranges, it’ll run you another $4.19.

Norway

The School Bread at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway is a treat to pair with your Frozen Viking Coffee. It is a sweet roll filled with custard and dipped in coconut. The bread is comparable to a cinnamon roll, and the filling is a sweet vanilla custard. The coconut on the outside is perfectly toasted, and luckily this treat isn’t too sweet! The School Bread will cost you $4.49, another great price for such a filling snack.

China

Orange chicken is a fan-favorite at every Chinese restaurant, but there’s something about the orange chicken at Lotus Blossom Café in the China pavilion that makes it irresistible. The crispy chicken and flavorful tangy sauce make this meal on you just can’t pass up. This entrée combo is served with steamed rice, an egg roll and a side of vegetables. It costs $14.50 for this combo and in my opinion, it’s enough for two people to share (especially if you’ll be sampling other snacks along the way!)

Germany

Mickey-shapes pretzels are a big deal in Disney, but if you’re looking for a huge, non-Mickey version, Sommerfest in the Germany pavilion is the place for you. This pretzel is big enough for two or three people to share, so it’s totally worth the $10.29. It’s perfectly salted, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and a really good snack to settle your stomach when you’re drinking around the World.

U.S.A.

At Fire & Drum Tavern in the U.S.A. pavilion, you’ll find the juiciest, biggest, most delicious turkey leg ever! This park snack/meal has been around for years and is a tradition for some people to show down on! In fact, across Disney parks, over 2 million turkey legs are purchased every year! That’s how you know it’s worth it. This is also a very shareable snack, as just one leg is 1.5 lbs. The Jumbo Turkey Leg at Fire & Drum is a whopping $13.25, a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

Japan

While Katsura Grill in the Japan pavilion has really fantastic sushi rolls, they don’t have many. Only serving California rolls, spicy tuna and salmon rolls and vegetable rolls, this chicken cutlet curry is for anyone who wants to venture outside the box. This crispy chicken served with curry sauce, steamed rice and mixed vegetables is the perfect meal to warm you up on those chilly or rainy nights in Orlando. It is such a comfort meal and you can’t beat a $14 dinner in Disney.

Morocco

For a quick snack in the Morocco pavilion, you’ll definitely want to hit up Spice Road Table for their hummus fries. The order for $10 comes with around six hefty fries, which is enough to share if you’re just snacking. They have the perfect crunch and are served with a creamy citrus chipotle aioli. Another great thing about these hummus fries is that they are completely plant-based! A win for vegetarian Disney-lovers. To make them completely vegan, just skip the dip!

France

Macarons might actually be my favorite dessert ever. A delicious crispy outside, a flavorful gooey inside, who can resist? I definitely can’t resist the macarons from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France pavilion. They have a collection of different flavors that can be purchased for $11.95. Not bad for six macarons!

Canada

The Canada pavilion does not have as many quick-service dining options as the other countries in the World Showcase but they do have the Popcorn in Canada stand. They sell regular buttered popcorn, yes, but they also sell maple popcorn. I can still remember the sweet smell of it! It is a delightful mix of sweet and salty. This popcorn is the perfect snack for when you’ve finished eating and drinking around the World, and want a quick snack on the way out! It’ll cost you $6.50, at no additional charge from the traditional buttered popcorn.
