Disney World has a plethora of resorts on the property, these are the most affordable options that will still ensure a great vacation.
When going on a trip to Disney – between the park tickets, restaurants and experiences – it’s easy to spend a lot of money without even thinking. We’ve got you covered with Disney World’s cheapest options for resorts on the property, to hopefully alleviate some of the financial stress that goes along with a Disney family vacation. These are, by no means, Disney’s most luxurious stays. But they’ll do just fine, if you’re more concerned about having a blast spending time in the parks and not spending money on a hotel.
1. Disney’s All Star Movies Resort

This is in very close quarters with the Music and Sports resorts, and they have essentially the same amenities and benefits, just with different theming. Starting at only $113 depending on the dates and length of your stay, this is an absolute steal. The theme is adorable and features the iconic Disney classics Toy Story and 101 Dalmatians.
As a budget friendly resort, this location does not have any restaurants, but instead offers a large food court with a wide variety of choices from grilled specialties, to salad, to pasta, and in the morning a huge breakfast menu! In addition to the movie theatre-esque food court, Disney always finds a way to include the adults. For an adult beverage, guests 21+ can head on over to the Silver Screen Spirits Pool bar, located next to the popular Fantasia pool. Some added benefits of staying on Disney property are early access to Disney Genie+, in which guests can make their reservations at 7:00 a.m. as opposed to when the park opens, extra magic hours to enter the parks early, and free transportation to and from each park! Although it’s a cheaper option, your Disney vacation will still feel like a movie.
2. Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort

This theme commends the world of competitive sports, including baseball, basketball, football and more. This is the perfect stay for athletes who love to have a good time.
Standard room prices average $173 a night, which for being on Disney property is shockingly affordable. The pool is huge and has large surfboard statues lining the outside, while adjacent is smaller pool for young kids. The Endzone Food Court offers the same menu items as the food court at the All-Star Movies Resort, but with a few extra options such as steak, seafood and ramen bowls. The adults only bar, Grandstands Spirit Pool Bar is located right next to the Surfboard Bay Pool. It’s the perfect opportunity to chill in the sun for those over 21!
3. Disney’s All-Star Music Resort

The theme is also spot on, which huge guitar statues everywhere, a jukebox the height of the hotel itself, and even a guitar shaped pool. For a more relaxing swim, there is another tranquil pool shaped like a grand piano. Music-lovers will have a blast here for sure. The Intermission Food Court offers the same selections as they have at the other All-Star resorts, but also offers upgrades like steak and seafood, hence why this option is usually a bit pricier (though still very affordable compared to most Disney resorts.) Again, there is a bar for adults called the Singing Spirits Pool Bar, a great place to unwind after a long day in the parks.
4. Disney’s Pop Century Resort

So many themes from different decades, so many bright colors and fun activities, it’ll really feel like you’re in Disney throughout your whole stay. The rooms here are a bit more expensive than the All-Star resorts, averaging $215 a night, but it is definitely a step-up as well.
The dining options are an even wider variety than those aforementioned, with seven different food stations that you can choose from depending on your mood. Not only that, but the Everything Pop dining area is complete with a shopping experience for Disney merchandise! You won’t even have to leave your hotel to get all of the Disney souvenirs you need.
The 60s themed pool is also a ton of fun, with flower shaped jets that spray water throughout the area. There are also smaller pools themed to the 1950s and 1990s, so you won’t be disappointed in the themes here. Like the other resorts on Disney property, guests will get the perks of extra magic hours, early Genie+ access, free transportation to and from parks, and the ability to charge hotel expenses to your MagicBand. 5. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Rooms start at $179, which is undoubtedly a price jump from the last few hotels. Yet, there amenities at this stay that make it unlike any other. For example, this hotel actually has the largest pool of any resort on Disney property! You could swim up and down this gorgeous pool for hours (although we advise you to spend those hours in the parks.)
The dining options are a step above a food court, yet still not quite a restaurant. There are 5 dining stations in which your food is fresh and made-to-order. The Art of Animation Resort also offers family-style suites that can accommodate parties of up to 6 guests. In addition to the usual Disney resort advantages, you can ride the Skyliner, a gondola system of transportation with a birds-eye view, to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Not to mention, this location is pet-friendly, which can be helpful to pet-owners and exciting to animal-lovers!
6. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

This is also the first hotel on this list to have multiple dining options on site. There is the Banana Cabana which serves beachy drinks and Caribbean inspired foods, Centertown Market which offers casual counter service or grab-and-go meals, Spyglass Grill which provides quick service by the pool, and lastly Sebatian’s Bistro, a waterfront table service dining experience.
The pool at this resort is an upgrade as well, seeing as it has not one, but two waterslides and cannons that shoot out water. This stay is for those who still want to feel like they’re on a fancy vacation, without the stress of spending $500+ a night. As per usual this resort includes all of the perks of Disney property, plus the Skyliner and an overall cleaner ambience.
7. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Yes, the average stay is over $300 a night, but less than $400 on Disney property is an absolute win. It teeters on the line depending on your room selection, but is easily not going to get into the range of some of the jaw-dropping resort prices. The value of this hotel is pretty unbeatable, considering the beautiful amenities, 123ft long waterslide, 24-hour fitness centers, spa services and more. This stay will feel like you’re on a tropical vacation, enhanced with the excitement of knowing you’re only 5 minutes from the most magical place on earth.
The dining options here are also superior to others on this list. Toledo serves tapas, steak and seafood, Three Bridges is a bar and grill dining experience, Rix Sports Bar will fulfill those late-night cravings while the Dahlia and Barcelona Lounges are the perfect place to relax. There are even more options for snacks and meals on the grounds so you know you won’t go hungry staying here!
