On your #trendy weekend getaway.

Traveling to LA and looking for that “celebrity” experience? Look no further for the 3 must-see stops on your #trendy weekend getaway.

1. Hike to the Hollywood Sign!

There is the common misconception that you can hike and touch the Hollywood sign, which unfortunately is not the case. However, hike the Mt. Hollywood Trail starting at the Griffith parking lot and you can experience the next best thing. This trail is the closest you can get to the sign, and is a relatively easy 3-mile hike. Get that picture-perfect jumping shot to make all your friends jealous!

2. Go on a TMZ Tour and see the “Real Hollywood”

This tried-and-true tour will definitely lead you to those big time celebrities, you just have to keep your eyes peeled!

Tip: If hopping on a bus and scouting for celebrities isn’t your scene, try hanging out around Abbot Kinney in Santa Monica. The bus doesn’t usually cover this area, but there is still a lot of celebrity action!

3. Attend a Taping of your Favorite TV Show

Being from central California, my mom and I have lucky been a short drive from most television studios in the LA area. We have been in the audience for multiple shows including Hell’s Kitchen, Disney’s Win Lose or Draw, Tosh.O, and even contestants on Let’s Make a Deal! The best website to find out about these tickets is www.on-camera-audiences.com where you can sign up for email alerts when tickets become available. All the shows I have attended have been free, so just look for shows airing during your travel dates!
