Drunch

Multiple locations

Drunch is a casual, family-run café serving deliciously brunch-y comfort food. The space is small, but quite cozy, with lots of flowers decorating all available surfaces. Its charming façade has made Drunch pretty popular with the trendy Instagram crowd, but that certainly doesn’t mean it’s overhyped. If you can only manage one item off the menu, consider the oft raved about pancakes, topped with banana slices and dulce de leche.

OPSO

10 Paddington St, London W1U 5QL, United Kingdom

Opened in 2014, OPSO serves contemporary Greek dishes, many featuring seasonal ingredients imported from the motherland itself. There’s an outdoor terrace for when the weather permits, but the sunny, minimalistic interior suits just fine if you’re not down to eat outside. The tzatziki, moussaka, and spanakopita come highly praised, and luckily, you don’t have to choose since the menu is mainly comprised of plates to share.

Décor (and cocktails) inspired by David Bowie, Ziggy Green is located inside of a former cinema, featuring vibrant Art Deco influences. The coffee here is worthy of even the pickiest aficionados, and the cocktails are creative and delicious. There’s also a popular bottomless brunch option, which comes with one savory and one sweet dish, plus unlimited glasses of the restaurant’s special “Daisy fizz.”

Owned by the same group as Ziggy Green, Scarlett Green offers another bottomless brunch deal, with a decidedly Australian twist. The interior is very boho beachy with palm tree motifs and ocean blue hues. Dishes feature fresh, seasonal ingredients that pair particularly well with unlimited mimosas.

Apple Butter Cafe

Multiple locations

Apple Butter Cafe is a viral all-day brunch spot most well-known for its uber-indulgent pancakes (featured flavor changes weekly.) Exposed brick walls and a (fake) apple tree in the middle of the restaurant make up the charming interior of this super popular establishment. The menu is fully halal, and gluten and dairy-free menus are available upon request. The sweets are king here (croissant butter pudding, anyone?) But the savory options are just as good, and the fun specialty coffees are not to be overlooked.

Unsurprisingly, 26 Grains offers a grain-focused all-day brunch menu – mostly sweet and savory porridge options, along with lots of toasts with various toppings. This is definitely one of the healthier brunch options in the city, perfect for those not looking to overindulge – or anyone who just really loves oatmeal!

Founded in 2019, Fallow is the epitome of impeccable service, low-waste cooking, and innovative dishes. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available, great for those with dietary restrictions. Perhaps the most popularly talked about menu item is the elevated “McMuffin” type breakfast sandwich, served on a delectably flaky croissant bun. If that sounds like your cup of tea, make sure to reserve a table ahead of time, as the restaurant fills up quickly.
