I am very passionate about learning different cultures and always trying new things. You have to try food everywhere you go! Food makes travel! I have lived in Munich for five years, and I love Bavarian culture, great beer, great food and of course Lederhosen.
Traveling has had a tremendous influence on me; my first time out of the country was to China, and ever since then I knew I had to see more. I was born and raised in Colorado, and if I had never traveled I would not be living in Europe today and living a dream. Here are my top five bars in Munich!
1. Couch Club

Couch Club is the go-to place for locals in Munich! It offers something for everyone with over 100 different types of gin to make amazing and delicious cocktails. Prices are affordable and you will be able to chat with anyone in the room. It’s a relaxed laid back bar and certainly worth the visit!
2. English Garden

It’s technically not a bar but when the weather is nice you can find all the locals at English Garden! You can only drink beer and wine but you can enjoy live music and Bavarian cuisine. Hint: you can bring your food with you as long as you buy drinks there! If you are in Munich it is an absolute must-do!

3. Die Goldene Bar

Die Goldene Bar is an award wining cocktail bar in the heart of the city. The room is extravagant with unique walls, which you will be talking about the entire evening! It’s a great place to grab a drink or two!
4. Jaded Monkey
Herzog-Wilhelm-Straße 25, 80331 Munich, Germany (map, website)
Centrally located near Sendlinger Tur, Jaded Monkey is a nice place to grab a cocktail in the evening and enjoy the company you are with. The cocktails are a little expensive but well worth a taste since they put their own twist on all of the drinks.
5. Bar Gabanyi

If you want to try something new and unique, come to Bar Gabanyi. The cocktails are amazing and it’s an experience you won’t be able to find anywhere else in the city! They also have live music almost every night, which puts the whole place in a cool mood. It’s a wonderful place for cocktail lovers, which I highly recommend.
