La Rôtisserie d’Argent is a deliciously informal option to its fine-dining sister restaurant, Tour d’Argent.

For award-winning deviled eggs and a restaurant known for delicious duck in Paris, head over to La Rôtisserie d’Argent. Before the end of September, the restaurant’s outdoor terrace is open and located right on Pont de la Tournelle, above La Seine, showcasing a spanning view of Notre Dame and Saint Geneviève Statue.

Featuring a traditional French menu, highlighted by deviled eggs topped with mayonnaise and mustard seeds sitting on a bed of potato salad, this is the winner of World Championship in 2022. Unlike deviled eggs that American diners might be accustomed to – yolk scooped out then refilled with a blend of ingredients – the version at La Rôtisserie d’Argent serves three halved eggs with yolks intact within egg whites. Layers of mayonnaise is light, like whipped cream. Each bite is creamy, fluffy and pillowy.

The whole Challans duck, serves in two courses, is paired with artichoke purée drizzled in hazelnut oil. The menu indicates that it can be shared between two people, but with the continuation of duck legs as part deux of the dish, the 98€ price tag can well satisfy four guests. La Rôtisserie d’Argent cooks with the same ducks as its sister restaurant Tour d’Argent (renowned for its highly-celebrated pressed duck,) with each duck numbered out of over one million ducks that have been served. Every piece perfectly juicy, especially savory topped with aromatic sauce at the bottom of the pan.

La Rôtisserie d’Argent is part of the Tour d’Argent Group starring a rooftop restaurant in which can be difficult to reserve a table, allowing the casual brasserie to be a tasty alternative. Before or after the meal, browse through the bakery that produces breads for all the d’Argent restaurants, its Pain à la Punchy is even embellished with the symbol of the brand’s iconic duck. A few steps away is the group’s épicerie selling all kinds of gourmet goodies, perfect for gifts and souvenirs.
