Zagreb’s nightlife may not be comparable to the famous scene in Hvar, but it’s far more cosmopolitan and urban.
For city slickers, it features cultivated wine bars, vibrant outdoor terraces transformed from cool cafes during the day. There’s a long list of places to choose from, but we’ve narrowed down to Zagreb’s top choices for you!
Bornstein – For Wine Lovers

In the Kaptol district, a short walk from the Zagreb cathedral, is Bornstein, Croatia’s first wine shop 30 years ago and now a celebrated bar. The building is a 200-year-old brick vaulted cellar, a true wine temple with a fantastic selection of Croatian and foreign products. High quality gourmet delights are also available, offering the best extra virgin olive oil, cheese, and meat products.
MOJO bar, wine rakija & co. – Lively Underground Vibe

Let’s go inside a basement for a change. MOJO bar has a cave-like vibe that turns into an underground dance floor and live music performances on certain nights. When the weather is sunny (which is often in Croatia,) there’s a large terrace that makes the perfect setting for sipping under the sun and mingle with locals in the Design District.
