Here’s your perfect and cutest cup of joe in the Constitution State!
I can always count on Neat for a flat white, or any coffee, really, that surpasses my incredibly high standards. After traveling the world addicted to caffeine, I have tried numerous different cups of coffee and Neat’s flat white will always be my favorite. As strong as Cuban coffee, yet as sweet as the most perfect café con leche, Neat’s coffee is the perfect blend of pick me up, relief, and joy.
What doesn’t Terrain do perfectly? From Sunday brunches, to evening dinners, chocolate chip cookies, and a quick morning breakfast to go, Terrain blends phenomenal cooking, fresh coffee, and the cutest garden décor that is enough to inspire any artistic soul, interior designer, or Instagram guru. My personal favorite is the eggs benedict with spinach instead of bacon…yumm!
Last Drop Coffee Shop in Connecticut is infamous throughout neighboring towns for its cozy atmosphere and frozen hot chocolate (which must be tried). They have filling and delicious lunch options (like cranberry chicken salad with avocado) and clean, comfy couches to lounge on during an afternoon break or productive writing session.
There is never a time of day when there isn’t a line at The Granola Bar (probably it’s greatest downfall). The Granola Bar specializes in healthy lunch options and snacks, as well as creative deserts and coffee options like their infamous Nutella Latte. The Granola Bar is a delicious place to meet friends or snag a quick pick me up, but make sure you have enough time to get through the front door.
Zumbach’s boasts one of the most loyal followings of coffee shops in CT. Customers pull into their regular parking spaces at Zumbachs with customized “Z” bumper stickers on the back of their cars. Zumbach’s coffee is strong and incredibly fresh. If it’s a traditional cappuccino you’re looking for, Zumbach’s is the place to be.
