A new platform has emerged as a place where reading, writing, culture, and language collide. Lang and Lit, a website launched this year, is committed to creating a space where travelers can share their talents and cities with the world while working from anywhere. Join me as I speak to the founders and learn what makes Lang and Lit such a new and exciting endeavor!

Thanks so much for sitting down with us today. To start, Jetset Times is intrigued as to what this website means for travelers. What were your primary intentions when starting the site?

Lang and Lit was created as a way to meet demand on several different levels. For travelers, it creates a place where they can work, no matter where they are, and they can share what they have learned on the road. Lang and Lit features language tutors, writing tutors, tours of several cities, partnerships with independent entrepreneurs abroad, and features to get students involved, like the Lang and Lit Book Club. Essentially, we wanted to make Lang and Lit a place where literature, art, language, and life experience abroad were harmonized and experienced universally.

So who is generally interested in Lang and Lit? Who is the primary audience?

There are a few tiers of primary audiences. First, the people who use the site as an educational resource, so students who are looking for tutoring or anyone who wants to be a part of the book club, etc. Second, it is a resource for people who are looking to become involved online and share their experiences and talents.

What do you think Lang and Lit offers that other companies and services do not already provide?

It’s the comprehensive approach that really makes Lang and Lit different. Whether you are involved because you are being tutored for Spanish, giving tours around London, or are a part of our book club, Lang and Lit serves as a way to bring people together and unite them through culture and learning.

What are some ways that people can get involved?

We are always looking for new tutors, tour guides, students, and people to get involved. If you are interested in learning more or have an idea that we do not already offer, please email us at langandlitco@gmail.com.

To learn more about this fantastic organization and how to get involved, please visit Lang and Lit for more information!
