Porto is one of our favorite destinations at Team JST. A few days in the second largest city in Portugal is a throwback in time infused with Baroque, Neoclassicism and Romanticism. When we fall in love with a city, there’s no hesitation the minute we come across the chance to supporting a local artist.

Meet Katelijn Smissaert, the artist behind KusKat – a collection of illustrations painted on artwork, thread painted on art hoop and high quality prints for your life on the road. Our newest collection on Jetset Times SHOP featuring KusKat includes: eco-friendly bread bags, yoga bags, handbags, passport wallets, drawstring shoe bags…and much more! What we love the most about KusKat is its natural products that are locally sourced, and her attention to handmade process ensuring quality.

For every KusKat item that you purchase, we will donate a part of it to an organization that I love: Designers Against AIDS, where founder Ninette Murk has been working hard raising awareness for HIV/AIDS in Antwerp, Belgium. Ninette and I first met at Paris Fashion Week years ago, and I’m so thrilled to incorporate her organization in our projects.
