These are not typical handbags – they are art.
Yesultong’s aim is to revive historic allies through sharing art and culture. With 8 Street Museums in Seoul, they created a community space “Namhakdang”.
The first time I went to Yesultong Street Art Gallery was with my family, where we did the tour to learn more about this whole new concept in Seoul.
We were all completely amazed by the streets with all the art interpret in different ways; sculptures, tiles, building structures, painting. Incredible!
On the same day we had the privilege to meet Mr. Park – the man responsible of creating such an amazing neighborhood. Mr. Park is truly an amazing artist (like no other that I’ve met before).
We connected through our passion for Gaudi and Barcelona; I was impressed when I saw a replica (different in its own way) of the bench in the Park Guell on the street!
He was excited to learn more about NITASURI– luxury handbags inspired by the Sagrada Familia and was able to see the connection between art and fashion. He then came up with the idea of creating a Gaudi Exhibition at the Street Art Gallery!
I couldn’t be more excited!!! He came up with the idea of creating “Spainish Night Live”. Starting with the famous Spanish violinist, Manuel Guillen, performing at the Cacoon hall, followed by the special exhibition of “Gaudi in Life” where real chairs from Gaudi were displayed along with any painting and drawings.
As NITASURI’s designer always says “these are not typical handbags – they are art” and they were displayed at the Corner Museum with Gaudi’s chair: with Mr. Park!
I had an amazing time with all the people that attended the event, couldn’t be happier.
Being an entrepreneur, you always face many challenges though when you reach your goals – you can’t help but feel accomplished and proud of all the efforts you’ve made throughout the journey.
