African handmade shoes is an uplifting entrepreneurial story we love.
Here at Jetset Times, we love an uplifting entrepreneurial story as much as a bear hug with a stranger. That’s why, we’re thrilled to include our first collection of footwear on Jetset Times SHOP with African Handmade Shoes.
Meet Paul, who traveled all over Africa and fell in love with handcrafted shoes made in Cape Town. Meet Arnold, a shoemaker from Zimbabwe struggling to take his business to the next level. When Paul became Arnold’s recurrent client, they decided to become partners and now, their company employs 30 people in management, stitching, cutting, sewing and glueing. In addition, their training program ensures high quality products by migrating employees to different positions allowing them to be trained in the entire process of shoemaking.
Besides releasing fun and vibrant designs, African Handmade Shoes’ #StartABoom initiative is ultra motivational. By helping to fund local entrepreneurs,
Each year, they select three local start-ups that demonstrate sustainability, and growth potential. With your help, one of these entities could be the one receiving up to 10% of our profits, to fund the growth of their own businesses.
