These practices date all the way back to traditional rituals which give you a sense of how life was experienced hundreds of years ago. Located in the northern part of Australia, the Tiwi Islands are situated 50 miles north of Darwin. There are approximately 3,000 native Tiwi Australians located in these lands, and it takes a private jet to Bathurst Island Airport (BRT) to visit this region. Travelers to this area are rare, so your trip will be one to remember for a lifetime.
