I’ve been working with Unici Casa over the past several years, organizing artists and performers for their lavish events. This year for fashion week, we collaborated with Art Hearts Fashion. My job was to organize the dancers, who would be dressed up as Marie Antoinette’s, and Unicorn Jewels was also asked to showcase the new collection at the party. I handmade the wigs for each dancer, along with several new pieces in the Unicorn Jewels collection, so I was particularly excited for this event. The night of the party was, as always, organized chaos. Everyone was working hard to make sure the opening was perfect for arriving guests. With the red carpet and media wall up, the runway set in the middle of the room, and Unicorn Jewels all laid out, I was ready to rock the night.
As the evening progressed, the room filled up with party goes and fashion lovers. We danced on stage and drank champagne as the night went on. The fashion shows were, of course, amazing with men and women strutting their stuff on the runway. There were also other performances throughout the night: an opera singer, a nude aerialist, scantily clad models, and of course my beautiful Marie Antoinettes. I spoke with the fashion director for Unici Casa Luke Lukatonic, and we sang happy birthday to the owner and my good friend, Michael Foroutan. It was fun to see familiar faces during the fun-filled night and I can’t wait to do it all over again for the next Unici Casa party.
