For 100 years, Hotel Boulderado has exuded Victorian-style charm from downtown Boulder, CO. Combining Rocky Mountain majesty and local history, the famous hotel features 160 guest rooms and the very original Otis elevator. To celebrate this winter holiday season with food, Hotel Boulderado will welcome guests with tasty hospitality in its three restaurant and bars.
Boulderado’s signature restaurant, Spruce Farm & Fish, will feature a series of holiday-themed dishes starting from mid-October. The menu includes: Shigoku Oysters with Spruce Ice, Pan-seared Breast of Pheasant and Pheasant Confit with Brown Butter And Tarragon Sweet Potato Gnocchi, and Ginger and Cinnamon Apple Pavé with Vanilla Bay Ice Cream and Hawaiian Black Salted Caramel.
For sipping on cocktails, guests can hang out with locals at the Corner Bar. Or, check out speakeasy-style License No. 1 which is the first bar in Boulder to obtain a liquor license. For something non-alcoholic, one can indulge in a cup of hot chocolate at the Boxcar Coffee bar in the hotel lobby.
As a way to start a new family tradition, Hotel Boulderado’s Thanksgiving Buffet (Thursday, Nov. 22) comes with chef-carved Roasted Turkey, Orange-Cranberry Relish & House-Made Giblet Gravy. Making it truly a family holiday, children under the age of 12 can receive a take home teddy bear at Teddy Bear Tea (Saturday, November 24.) Not only Santa will stop by to offer joyful cheers, the event benefits Children’s Hospital of Colorado.
Continuing the tradition of giving back, there will be Nutcracker Teas (December 9 and 16) to benefit the Boulder Ballet. Costumed dancers, treats and Tchaikovsky’s March of the Toy Soldiers Parade will dazzle Hotel Boulderado with even more holiday cheers.
On Christmas Day, the hotel’s Mezzanine will feature the Christmas Buffet.
