In the last decade or so Dubai has exploded onto the international jet set scene. Teeming with oil wealth and presided over by the ambitious Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the city has become one of the most lavish and desirable destinations in the world.
Of course, this level of luxury comes at a price, and a steep one at that, in fact you’d probably have to be a millionaire to truly experience this desert oasis. Luckily, thanks to Lottoland’s £76 million Rollover Reload, you can be!
Imagine you scooped this incredible jackpot up, ask yourself: what would you do, where would you stay, what would you eat? Unsurprisingly, Dubai is packed with opulent hotels, but none stand out quite like the iconic Burj Al Arab. Book yourself into the Terrace suite (a mere £3,000 or $3,750 per night) and you’ll have access to a private pool, Hermes bath products, a Bentley to chauffeur you around and, of course, your own butler. You can even choose to arrive by helicopter!
If you really want to put that £76 million ($95.3 million) to the test, you can always rent out the Royal Suite for a week, priced at an ambitious £20,000 ($25,000) per night. The Burj Al Arab, dubbed a “7-star” hotel, boasts some of the best restaurants in the UAE, but eating in your hotel every night is hardly very jet set now is it?
Have a bit of a sweet tooth? Head to the Dubai Mall and sample the world’s most expensive cupcake, a steal at around £800 ($1,000). You might want to start off that particular dining experience with the world’s most expensive pizza, too. Also located in the Dubai Mall, you can grab a pizza topped with meat of a French blue lobster, Sicilian cherry tomatoes, truffles, real gold leaves and asparagus. It’ll only cost you £100 ($125).
So you’ve chewed your way through close to a grand and you’re refreshed from a night in the world’s best hotel. What do you do next? For a lot of visitors, a few holes in the world’s most expensive golf course are high on the agenda, and at £250 ($315) a go, it’s hardly going to make a dent in your spending money!
Of course these are just a few things to do in Dubai, but if you’re interested in seeing record-breaking buildings, eating expensive food and basking in the Arabian sun, then look no further than Dubai!
