As home to the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu and the Nazca Desert; Peru has become a top touristic destination for today’s adventurers and curious wanderlusts. With so much to do ranging from enriching museums, trekking the Inca Trails to indulging in world-class restaurants, you’re most likely planning a trip to both Lima and Cusco. Due to the changing altitudes from high mountains in Cusco to seaside Lima, you might be a little confused on what to pack for this epic trip. Follow the lists below, and you’ll be fortunately prepped on the fashion and gadget front.

Since Peru is located in the southern hemisphere, its summer months span from December to February with temperatures in Lima reaching 80s°F. Meanwhile, Cusco’s climate is cool throughout the year thanks to its elevation, with temperatures ranging from 34°F to 71°F
