This is one of the most definitive historical houses in Amsterdam. You shouldn’t leave Amsterdam without paying this place at least one visit. Let’s give you a little background first- Anne Frank was a little Jewish girl when the second world war was going on. While on the run from the Nazis, she left her diary which described the hardships which her community has to endure. The museum is a dedication to her and contains the building where Anne’s family were in hiding. The precise location of this museum is Prinsengracht 263-267 and it’s open from 9 am to 7 pm.

This is the must-visit destination for art fanatics as this place dates back to the very early 19th century. Back then, it used to house antiques and art which were the pride of the country, in more than even 250 rooms.
