Nice: Beach By Day & Night

Wayne’s Bar is happening.

Nice is a city of international travelers and it is especially apparent at night. When walking around the streets, one hears a number of different languages and accents from around the world. Although there are plenty of good-looking people (men especially), there was much less nightlife than expected.

There are a number of bars one can go to, Wayne’s Bar being the most happening with their live music and table dancing.  However, the vibe at night in Nice is much more relaxed. There are less heels and tight dresses than in other cities and more sandals and flowy tops. Although the bar scene can be fun, what one should definitely experience when out at night in Nice is the night beach scene. Locals and tourists alike sit in small groups on the sand drinking wine or beer or enjoying a crepe or some gelato. It is easy to meet people and nice to enjoy the warm ocean breeze.

Who knows, if it’s warm enough, you can go skinny dipping!
