Halcyon Drive’s Travel Diary Part 5: Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane

Lots of dancing done, beers drunk, and not much sleep in Brisbane.

Friday 13th October: Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane

So last night we had the pleasure of headlining the Rare Finds Brisbane show at Black Bear Lodge alongside locals Twinfolds and Chakra Efendi. Huge ups to Rob and Rare Finds team for putting on these club shows- a great way for interstate bands like us to play in front of a bunch of lovely new faces. With Valley Fiesta happening and the mall outside in full party/chaos mode it definitely set the scene for a fun night on the town- Brisbane has taken the cake for loosest of the cities so far on this tour! Twinfolds notably rocked a bloody fun set- another up and coming band on my list to keep an eye out for. There was lots of dancing done, beers drunk, and in the end not much sleep had. Huge ups to everyone who came out to see us- even a few peeps from down the coast. We’ll be back soon hopefully!
