Ah, Spring Break.
I remember those days in college, when my sorority would pair up with a fraternity and rage like rabid degenerates in a tropical destination like the Bahamas or Cancun. Can’t say I miss those days.
Nope. I am quite happy with my mid-20’s, cultured, exotic ideas of sexy spring getaways, and they have nothing to do with obscene amounts of debauchery. Only one thing is still the same – I’ll likely be in a bikini the entire time!

Even if you’re no longer in school like me, you should still give yourself time off for a “Spring Bring”! Don’t wait for your long travel trip this summer, take a week or even a weekend this spring to get away, preferably to somewhere sexy! Check out some of these sexy locations which range in price from “savvy traveler” to “jetsetter”.
1. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Cabo is hot, hot, hot! Sexy scenery, happy people, and exciting adventures, plus it’s super affordable! Stay in a cheaper hotel then buy a day pass to Nikki Beach, or take a boat to the famous rock arc! Nightlife is questionable, yet highly entertaining.
2. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
There are TONS of all-inclusive resorts in Dominican Republic, which means there’s a good chance you’ll be fat, drunk, tan, and happy all day. If you can pry yourself away from the gorgeous hotel pools, you’ll see some of the whitest sand beaches and clearest waters in the Carribbean! Check sites like Groupon Getaways to get super cheap deals that even include airfare!
3. Nassau, Bahamas
Going without the massive group of crazy co-eds is a lot different because you actually get to pay attention to what you’re enjoying. The Bahamas are beyond beautiful and also quite affordable! You can fly there, or look into taking a cheap cruise from Ft. Lauderdale (they have 2-3 day cruises starting at $99!), or Miami. Getting a day pass for Atlantis is also highly recommended!
4. Montego Bay, Jamaica
If Bob Marley didn’t start playing automatically in your head, you might want to get your internal speakers checked. I included Jamaica because, of course, it’s sexy tropical atmosphere. It also has several all-inclusive resorts and affordable trip packages. Maybe skip experimenting with dreads though. Ya mon!
5. Costa Rica
Apparently this is a surfer’s paradise, but I don’t surf, so I’ll take the tropical beaches and sexy jungle excursions. Costa Rica is one of those places brimming with culture and exciting adventures. Did I mention there are active volcanoes you can explore? They have those too.
6. Ao Nang, Thailand
Forget Phuket, Ao Nang is a hidden exotic gem which is beyond sexy in every aspect. Stay in one of the resorts along the beach ($20-40 per night), and take the 4-Island Snorkeling Tour to the places that are on every postcard of Thailand. Then have an authentic Thai meal, buy local souvenirs, and do the Krabi Jungle Tour, you will not be disappointed!
7. El Nido, Philippines
Recently, I haven’t been able to shut up about this place, and you can probably see why from the photo. El Nido is one of the new 7 Natural World Wonders, and is located just south of Manila. The only problem is that you’ll probably want to stay for a lot more than a week!
8. Bali, Indonesia
Bali just sounds sexy, doesn’t it? Bali, o0h-la-la. While many people think of Bali as a romantic spot, which it definitely is, it’s also full of must-see culture and adventure! Plus it has those really sexy hotels with the infinity pools in the middle of a jungle.
9. Roatán Bay, Honduras
All I can say is: Wow. Not only does Roatán Bay have affordable all-inclusive resorts in jungle and beach locations, but it’s still not fully populated with tourists, which means you’re in for a REAL adventure! I got to swim with dolphins, play with monkeys, and even go zip-lining through the jungle!
10. Cinque Terre, Italy
Ah, Italy! Another sexy location by default, especially along the coast. Nestled snugly along the Italian Riviera is Cinque Terre, an ocean-front town full of adorable Italian architecture, breathtaking views, and of course, delicious Italian food fare!
Bonus: Maldives
My non-existent future husband doesn’t know this yet, but my honeymoon is definitely going to be in the Maldives. Unique, tropical, and sexy, what more could you possibly ask for?
