Travel much?

Where does it begin and where does it end. We travel to homes, on the streets of our precious cities and towns, other countries and so. We travel all day and at times to new places and just as you take in the new you realize how there are endless more places to explore.

Some of us believe that travelling is considered travel when it is to another country. But I say, why not take the pleasure of what stands outside your door. Travel down your street and into the park and find what you never knew was there.

I knew at a young age that I love to travel and knew that it starts right at home.

With the upcoming of age, there was this drive and justly hustle to explore my surroundings and find a life that included the adventures that the privilege of walking embodied.

Toronto was a lucky place to start. A gorgeous city that has grown so much. Some recent memories include walking through what looks like large Chicago-style buildings; smiling to the beautiful diversified people everywhere; observing The young and the old hustling to reach their next destination through streets of old and new architects. Like most, it is challenging to find the time or the moment to just pause and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. The city life and all the beautiful factors that four seasons have to offer. Winter – cold, sharp, strong. Fall- prepare, adjust and enjoy the leaves changing colour, ever so fast. Spring, growth and joy. Summer – soft , warm, hot. Toronto is sizzling fun and beautiful here all year around.

In the spring and summer; through all these buildings lay hidden gardens and parks filled with angelic birds, lush grandfathered trees, warm fresh grass and flowers of too many colours to count. One of so many, Castle Loma is a beautiful walk that holds a garden that will leave you wondering where you are. Found in the middle of the city you can make sure through all that cycling, walking, working, site seeing you may do; this will add a sprinkle of sugar to your day.

Toronto is a big city and many beautiful places exist within it that would speak volumes to enjoyment and most likely will be spoken and shared with again.

The spring brings May flowers and with that so many moments where just walking down that street where just a few months ago, everything covered with snow is now blooming with life. The bees, the birds twinkle flower to flower and greet you with light. While walking, why not stop to have a bite somewhere. Feeling like Tai, Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern, French; it may take some time to choose or just follow your craving or curiosity to try something new.

Toronto with its vibrant vibe will keep you walking all day, or maybe rent a bike and ride the Toronto downtown Don Valley bike path, quiet and beautiful nature or and head to the lakes’ board walk. Then after the warm fresh air blowing you softly, stroll to Kensington Market and grab a bite to eat, pick up some fresh produce and have a dance with the drummer whom is known to make people laugh.

We do also have the Toronto night life, the beautiful night but that we will leave for another day.

So travel much lately? I think yes. Your city is special as all our cities are special and the gift of travelling is everywhere and we may some day have the opportunity to travel to your country. We are all travelling. So let’s take a moment to enjoy our city, our town and others.
