The Troy archaeological site is located near Tevfikiye village, about 30 km south of Çanakkale in northwestern Turkey. Here’s how you can get there by plane and car:

Fly to Çanakkale Airport (Closest Option)

• Airport: Çanakkale Airport (CKZ)
• Distance to Troy: ~30 km (about 30–40 minutes by car)

Domestic flights operate from Istanbul, mainly via Istanbul Airport (IST).

From Çanakkale Airport:

• Take a taxi directly to Troy
• Rent a car at the airport
• Use local minibuses (dolmuş) toward Tevfikiye village

At the site:

• Location: Near Tevfikiye village, 30 km south of Çanakkale
• Recommended Time: 2–3 hours for the site, plus 1–2 hours for the museum
• Best Time to Visit: Spring and autumn for mild weather
• Tip: Hire a guide or use an audio tour to fully appreciate the layers of history
