6 Most Instagrammed Places In Los Angeles

Post photos at trendy hotspots looking like a star.

L.A. is a land where everyone is obsessed with Instagram and loves posting photos at trendy hotspots looking like a star. There are certain L.A. hotspots that surely everyone on Instagram around the world has seen, just because Angelenos never stop posting photos at these places.

As much as we make fun of these cliché photos and call them basic, we would never miss the chance to post a fierce pic whenever we find ourselves in the same hotspot. You know you’re all dying to go the same places where your favorite L.A. influencers have been to.

Here are the 6 most Instagrammed places in L.A., so that you can go and post your own basic but fabulous photos.

1. Urban Light at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art)

5905 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036, USA (map, website)

Forget the gigantic museum. The spot that you really want is the Urban Light installation at the entrance of LACMA. Don’t know what art installation we’re talking about? Trust us, you’ve definitely seen it.

Urban Light is the display of street lamps arranged in a rectangle where everyone and their mama has taken multiple Instagram photos. It’s where Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher fight during their date in “No Strings Attached.” It’s a tourist trap and local favorite and it’s always ready to go up on your Instagram, day or night, so just get it over with.

2. The Broad

221 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012, USA (map, website)

Ever seen photos inside the Infinity Mirrored Room? Of course you have. Or photos of the big blue Balloon Dog? Probably. Or the art piece that says “Your body is a battleground”? Most definitely.

All of this can be seen at the Broad Museum in Downtown L.A. The latter two are part of the permanent collection which can be seen for free if you reserve tickets in advance. The Infinity Mirrored Room on the other hand requires that you put your name down on a list (in person) bright and early in the morning and then stand in line and hope you get your chance to post a pretty picture.

3. Graffiti Angel Wings by the Global Angel Wings Project

All 4 locations in one map

It’s hard not to roll your eyes every time you see someone pose in front of these graffiti angel wings painted all over Los Angeles. But of course as soon as you stumble upon a set of them yourself, you bet your ass you’re posting a cute, somewhat original (but not really) photo of yourself with angel wings.

A few locations where you can find them including: Angel City Brewery, Guelaguetza on Olympic Blvd and Regent Theater in D.T.L.A.

4. Commissary at Line Hotel

3515 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010, USA (map, website)

Line Hotel is the spot where the trendiest L.A. influencers go to be seen. Everyone coming to the hotel’s rooftop bar, Commissary, looks Instagram-famous and you can tell they’re mainly hanging out there to see and be seen. With a greenhouse-like interior, swimming pool and menu designed by superstar chef Roy Choi, it’s not hard to see why Commissary is a crowd favorite.

5. Skybar at the Mondrian

8440 Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069, USA (map, website)

Skybar is probably the most beautiful swimming pool with a view, with 4 white windows looking out to the hills and L.A.’s skyline. Located at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood, Skybar is a perpetual hotspot for stylish parties, gatherings and getaways. A popular event to check out is the annual day party for A Club Called Rhonda which takes place every Labor Day at the pool bar. As a venue that makes anyone feel like they’re living the glamorous Hollywood life, Skybar is the perfect place to post photos to make your friends back home jealous during your trip to L.A.

6. Runyon Canyon

Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, 2000 N Fuller Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046, USA (map, website)

Located literally right behind the main section of Hollywood Blvd, Runyon Canyon is the “IT” spot to hike, workout and take dope photos. It’s a place where L.A. girls in yoga pants and full makeup love to be seen and will hike for an hour to get that perfect Instagram-worthy photo.

It’s easy to see why Angelenos love hiking at Runyon on the reg. There are views for days, from beginning to end of the hike, and you can take photos of different sections of the sprawling cityscape below you.

It wouldn’t be L.A. if a popular hiking trail wasn’t also a place to be seen…
