We admit it, it’s a dream come true.
Italy, the land of food so good that we forget how much carbs has been consumed every second. Let’s not forget the aromatic wine that goes along with every meal. Thanks to The Dora Sarchese Vineyard, a fountain of wine is available 24/7. Bonus: it’s free!

Located in Italy’s Abruzzo region, the fountain is conveniently situated on the Cammino di San Tommaso – a pilgrimage route from Rome to Ortona. Travelers on their sacred journeys can make a short stop at the fountain for wine, at any hour, at no cost.
The vineyard wanted its fontana del vino to not only be a buzzworthy pitstop, but to act as a warm welcome for those traveling to the holy Cammino di San Tommaso. The point isn’t to promote drunken behavior. In fact, travelers crossing this path are typically on their way to visit The Basilica of St. Thomas the Apostle, where worshippers can see St. Thomas’ remains.
In any case, we’re delighted to say “salute!”
