Here are the best eats in San Francisco, without breaking the bank. Every restaurant listed below contains a $ or $$ menus that are tasty and totally affordable!
You have to try the Spicy Pork Kimchee Burrito here. It is a mixture of sweet and spicy all in one burrito! The service here is amazing; it’s super fast and the owners of the restaurant are extremely friendly.
2. Lou’s Café
Hands down, the best sandwich place I have ever had in the bay area. Get all the sandwiches with the Dutch Crunch bread. It’s what they are known for.
3. El Farolito

If you want to satisfy them late night munchies in SF, then El Farolito is the best place to go. If you go you must try the Super Quesadilla Suiza, and their El Pastor Burrito.
4. SO vs. San Tung
When you hear about Chinese chicken wings you automatically think of San Tung. I personally think SO’s chicken wings are way better, but you should try both and see which one you decide on.
Golden Boy Pizza, also another late night restaurant, has a very unique pizza called the Garlic Clam Pizza. The restaurant is very generous with their toppings so every bite will provide you a variety of flavors.
6. Delicious Dim Sum
752 Jackson St, San Francisco, CA 94133 (map)
Too lazy to go to a sit in and go through the crazy commotion of dim sum restaurants? Then Delicious Dim Sum is the way to go! You get good quality dim sums for a very good price along with little wait and trouble.
I would say this restaurant is known as the fast food burger joint of the bay. They are located in multiple places of San Francisco along with San Jose. The burgers are from fresh and quality produce. Partners located just miles from the restaurants source these burgers.
The baked crab here is life changing. Salt and pepper crab meat with lightly crisped coating of batter just makes your mouth water. It is also baked with jalapenos, which gives it a nice spicy kick to it.
In Japan Town and looking for a restaurant that is also close to all the bars? Ssisso is definitely a restaurant to check out. They also have beer towers and television sets surrounding the restaurant for sport fanatics. It’s a great place to enjoy some amazing Korean comfort food while watching the game.
Samovar Tea Lounge is definitely a restaurant you should check out for the ambiance. They have multiple locations, but I highly recommend the one on Howard Street. The restaurant has floor to ceiling windows providing the whole place with beautiful natural lighting. Also, the food here is light and is paired perfectly with the teas.
