Founded by a pilot, Maxence Boussier, who released CrewMe last week. Since then, the newest dating app has already garnered hundreds of downloads. Boussier saw a strong demand for crew members working for different airlines to connect.

According to Conde Nast Traveler India, Boussier believes the app can encourage cabin crew members to meet, explore a new city together and grab a drink when they’re stuck at airports due to long layovers

A GPS locator allows you to know who is nearby, showing the person’s name and the airline he/she works for. Just like Tinder, you can swipe right or left based on your interests. If a match occurs, then you’ll be able to meet this person. The app works anywhere in the world.

CrewMe is currently only available via iOS and it’s free for download. Android version will be released later this year. For a premium version, user must pay $3.99 for the upgrade which gives notification whenever someone “likes” you.
