I’ve discovered quite a few places that are perfect for booze and even pretty affordable!

Although there’s a good chance you’ll find me sipping wine after zip-lining through a jungle in Thailand, or having multiple Cuba Libres along the Malecon in Havana, I also like to take certain vacations to relax and do nothing…besides having a few cocktails by the beach or the pool. If that’s the type of vacation you’re into, I’ve discovered quite a few places that are perfect for booze and even pretty affordable! Your best bet is to look at vacation package deals on sites like Groupon Getaways or Amazon Escapes, but here are the places that are tropical, cheap, and even all-inclusive!
1. Dominican Republic
Fun fact: Dominican Republic was the first place I ever got drunk at because my family stayed at an all-Inclusive resort and I sneakily hid my band so I could order a Miami Vice. Another fun fact is that you can stay at these types of resorts for around $699 including airfare, and sip all the Miami Vice’s you want on a sunny, white-sandy beach, or glorious sparkling pool.
2. Jamaica
Jamaica might make you crazy when you see how cheap it is to go there and stay at an all-inclusive resort. It’s similar to Dominican Republic with its beautiful beaches and resort pools, and another ideal vacation to booze on if you’re looking to just relax and catch some rays.
3. Bahamas Cruise
We used to take Bahamas cruises all the time in college because they’re so freaking cheap and fun! You can catch a 2 or 3 night cruise out of Fort Lauderdale or Miami for as low as $199 and it’ll take you to Atlantis for the day, and the cruise’s “private island.” Buying a day pass for Atlantis is definitely worth it, the only downside is that booze get pretty expensive there and on the boat.

4. Bimini
Bimini is right near Bahamas, but the reason I’ve included it is because I know of a short cruise out of Fort Lauderdale that’s more of a “booze cruise” trip if that’s what you’re looking for. This cruise is all-inclusive and either 1 or 2 nights from $105 and leaves from the Port of Miami with Resorts World Bimini. They usually gather groups of young people to go on big trips so if you want to pretend like you’re back in Spring Break, check it out.

5. Cabo San Lucas
Ah, Cabo. The token boozy vacation spot. Aside from being beautiful, it’s Mexico, which is pretty much translation for “drink as much as possible.” It might be a tad bit more expensive, but you can still find all-inclusive resorts and fantastic deals. Just be aware that they are extremely strict on the amount of people you try to cram into one hotel room!
