Exploring a new city is always exhilarating but searching to find a bathroom in your time of need is stressful and exhausting. I often find myself running around like a chicken with its head cut off because I have to pee so badly.
In a random restaurant, I usually end up having to pay for something to use the “Customers only” restroom. That sucks! No one ever wants to buy something they don’t want, but especially not when they’re shaking and sweating because they have to pee so badly.
I have found that the best places to go are bars. During the day they’re usually empty and there’s no line. They have never asked me to pay for something before using their restroom. At night there might be a longer wait to use the toilet, but they’re still pretty accessible. I’ve definitely frantically ran into a good deal of bars asking to use the facilities and they’re usually really cool about it.
Stop paying for something at snobby restaurants just to use the restroom or traveling across town to use a public bathroom. Just find the nearest bar and I’m sure they will happy to let you relieve yourself without a problem.
