Key item: bring comfortable shoes!

You’re heading to Copenhagen, where winters are fiercely freezing and summers seem like the only great time to visit because locals are happier than usual! Just in case you’re heading there during any season of the year, we’ve got you covered with the list below.

Denmark has four VERY distinct seasons of spring, summer, fall and winter. The spring months (April and May) are mild and the summer months (June, July and August) are the hottest. Autumn runs from September to November and tends to be rainy and cloudy. From December to March, the weather is literally freezing with snow. That being said, the best time to visit is from May to August, when the days are long and everyone’s happy!

Key item: bring comfortable shoes! The city is compact, meaning that you can walk everywhere…and you certainly will. The local style is minimalist but on trend. So try not to steer away from sweatpants or your college hoodie. Stuff a good pair of jeans, awesome flats and a cool jacket.
