If you want to live life like Johnny Lawrence or Daniel LaRusso from Cobra Kai, look no further!

The show, which takes place 34 years after The Karate Kid, was shot in a slew of exciting locations. We’re breaking them down right here, keep reading to check out where all the action went down in the newest season.
Georgia

Though many of the dojo scenes were filmed on a stage, the outside of Cobra Kai Dojo was actually Crossroads Shopping Center in Atlanta. Along with the shopping center, other places around Atlanta serve as important locations throughout the series.
Atlanta Motors Superstore in Union City on 6740 Oakley Industrial Boulevard stood in for LaRusso Auto Group, although the store is now closed. Another one you might recognize is the LaRusso house, which is said to be in Encino in the show while it was actually filmed in Marietta, GA. The large mansion at 130 Woodlawn Dr. NE, boasts an indoor atrium, a swimming pool, and a greenhouse. There’s also one acre of space outside of the home.
West Valley High School, a recurring spot in the show, is portrayed by the C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center in Atlanta. The center offers athletics, aquatics, after school programs, and more.
California

The show is largely set in California, even though few scenes were filmed there in reality. One location is Johnny and Miguel’s apartment in Tarzana, at 18555 Burbank Boulevard. This is one of the few places that use California rather than Georgia. If you’re looking to experience the world of Cobra Kai, it might seem like Cali is the place to start, but in reality many of the moments you know and love are shot in Georgia.
Japan

Okinawa, to be specific. In season 3, Daniel heads to Miyagi’s hometown where he visits Tomi Village in Japan. Keep in mind that others have said these scenes were really shot back in the U.S.
Okinawa is comprised of hundreds of islands, and the list of activities is endless. From touring, checking out the coral reefs, to observing the beautiful nature. Ōgimi is especially filled with jungles and rocky cliffs. You can see all of these locations featured in Cobra Kai by streaming Netflix.
