A hidden cocktail menu to secret music shows, and an exclusive guest list.
In early October, English actor Idris Elba will open The Parrot – a new 60-seater luxury cocktail bar – inside Waldorf Hilton, London.
A collaboration between Elba and brothers Lee and Nicky Caulfield, the partners guarantee a “whole host of A-List surprises, from a hidden cocktail menu to regular, unannounced secret shows and an exclusive guest list.” The ambiance is set to be intimate and bespoke, including an Aston Martin chauffeured car with The Parrot logo for VIP guests.
Identical twin brothers, the Caulfields, are Hollywood actor assistant-turned fixer (Lee) and professional musician (Nicky). The cocktail bar will feature a menu that rings true to its tropical name. Created by The Waldorf’s executive chef, Karl Richardson, the menu is influenced by tropical getaways presented in small plates.
The venue will serve as a place for nightly entertainment, bringing attention to West End talents, and covers of famous songs. The shows will be secret and unannounced, so folks can keep an eye out for the next big hit. We’ll keep you posted as The Parrot opens in London.
